Sad news, but happy to see the Bathurst caribou getting some attention. Now, compare the range map and the Bathurst calving grounds to a map of the proposed Arctic Security Corridor. If the road and port go ahead, local HTOs believe the Bathurst caribou herd will be wiped out

I would love to see someone do an analysis of how much it costs when Amazon/Putolator/Fedex/etc transfer packages to Canada Post to be brought into northern communities.

Community members will not see benefits from this project if it is allowed to move forward. But they will see the destruction of TWO caribou herds. Yet I have not seen any article even briefly mention these herds and their importance to Nunavut communities.

A friend from Iran is in the same situation - application stalled 2 years now after graduating 3 years ago. There are much easier ways to get into a country than doing a PhD!
