i want to kiss this one, its literally my favorite. any notes i may have is overshadowed by just the pride i feel when i see it, like i did that. i cant believe i was going to abandon it bc i felt i fucked up the tree, crazy work

i don't love the flower colors, but i love the dog and my little paddington. studying color theory would be really helpful for me, i feel like my pictures aren't always harmonious. i might add highlights later. been in such a rut lately, i need to work on honing my own style

took forever to do another picture. ive been feeling unmotivated bc i feel a lack of creativity/skill. i like this one, the lights aren't perfect but it was the first time ive tried it. i like the color coordination between the couple, and the colors i chose in general

im very proud of this one. some of the lighting is a little fakakta, but i love the texture of the wall, and the floor wasn't exactly what i wanted but still on theme. i haven't decided on if ill do a background or just leave it as is, but its my favorite so far for sure

i really like this one, i think the water turned out pretty, and the shading on the fence im proud of. the sky maybe has too many transition shades, but im still learning. i gotta practice clouds, and maybe a little more texture on certain things

this ones almost cheating, its the second i did and i followed a tutorial because i wanted to learn proper shading. i think it did help my skills tho, not much id change except maybe the lamp. y180 and y210 have become my default dog colors

i don't love the grass in this one, feels too pale. and the sky could use a few more transition colors. but overall i dig the color palette, and the moss on the rocks is my fav. i tried to do a shadow for the dog which turned out a little messy, but i wasnt very confident, always next time

this was the first page i did with my ohuhu alcohol markers, after using tombow water markers for a couple months. id probably color it differently now (i.e more harmonious colors proper shading, textures), but i think it turned out okay. i like the window and the seats best
