And now I reign back on the gushing, and sharing chat logs generally, my friend has a point and as I see it, it's a habit born from my fear of being misunderstood and being seen as a bad person I don't need to carry forward anymore

Actually was that friend for others, and yeah it also helped to have them explain the story to me, cus I do not know how I would’ve followed along otherwise

And while I’m at it, FUCK THE STIGMA BEHIND MEDICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH AND SEEKING HELP FOR IT. I withheld being diagnosed and addressing my BPD 3 TIMES OVER, because stigmas caused shame for having it & made me fear being abandoned more if people knew, addressing it with DBT saved my fucking life
