The law was passed with wide support across the Swedish legislature, pushed forward by the panic that women are being exploited via OnlyFans.

It's an absolutely bizarre bill only criminalizes porn if you purchase it from a creator themselves. Studio content and pre-recorded content are exempted.
As with all "Nordic model" legislation, it actually takes away independence and agency and requires sex workers to work through third-parties.

Forcing us to find and work with studios and cutting our revenue streams by 80% WILL DIRECTLY LEAD to exploitation but let’s not forget how many of us won’t ever be able to work with a studio and will now be left with no way to make money to survive…….
