Y’all. I need you to sit down for a moment. ⬇️ That is a real tweet. I verified for myself. 🤬 Look at the timestamp.

Silence is a luxury for those who aren't forced to defend their existence. The rest of us speak because the truth makes the comfortable squirm, not because it's wrong—but because it exposes what they refuse to confront.

They want us to be desperate and afraid. Don't fall for it! It is not going to be easy. But we will make it through. We are not quivering to the psychopaths in charge. Stay the course. Remember who you are. Invoke your ancestors. Know who is safe in your community.

If this doesn't f*cking concern you, I don't know what the f*ck will.

The last few days feel like we've been going through hell. Stay the course. They want to exhaust and scare us. Do not give them the satisfaction. Remember who you are. Reach out to safe members in your communities for help. But do not relent.

Beautiful! I have a view of the other mountain. 😉

Saw this on Nextdoor: large-scale nuclear training in NY. I’m across the country—should we be aware of something deeper, or is this normal? Sharing to fact-check responsibly.

Let's use our collective voices and power. Block away!

I'm getting back to my roots of growing up on a cattle ranch in Mexico. I just ordered quite a few nonperishables and am starting my gardening early this year. #SurvivalModeActivated And I wonder why my creative tank is low. 😆 #booksky #writingcommunity #skywriter #romancelandia

F*ck! Not to be an alarmist, but it’s better to be prepared. Y’all, having a stash of cash and emergency food supplies doesn't hurt. Yes, be a prepper because anything is possible anymore. Also, we are probably headed into another pandemic, but you won’t know since he’s shut down coms.

I hate that I have to share this. But it's a PSA. Familiarize yourself with these symbols and keep your eyes open. ⬇️

Yo! Fellow #romancewriters #romancelandia ⬇️ I see you. 😉

I've been scouring OfferUp for vintage wall art. In the process, I've learned I desperately want things I don't need. Take this commercial toaster as an example. I don't need it. But now I can't keep my eyes off of it. 😆 No, I'm not buying it.

¡Qué pasa raza! I’ve been busy with the holidays, but just wanted to check in. ¿Como están? I just found out I’m hosting Christmas. Now my house is a mess because I only decorated this tree and my hot cocoa bar and a little bit in the kitchen. Now Christmas is coming to the rest of the house. 🎄🧑🏼‍🎄

I don't mind sharing my tools if they are cleaned and immediately returned. Eldest has Milwaukee, hubs DeWalt, and I have a range. But hubs keeps “sharing.” then the DeWalt gets mixed up. 🤬 I’m slowly converting to pink, in whatever brand. 😆 Currently DIY-ing, so the guest room is my toolbox.

This foof always lifts my spirit. 🤍 I was feeling down thinking about how my dad is a Mexican immigrant and hubs is a Filipino immigrant. Dad arrived here alone at 14, and hubs was 18. Dad was illegal at the time. Now, 2024. I ignorantly believed our nation was better than what we are witnessing. 😔

Drop the lock screen.

Mine is a winter scene.

One of the things I appreciate about where I live is that my kids have gotten opportunities I'm not sure would be available or recognized in many other parts of the country, even if we are not from a local tribe. #RecognitionMatters

It was 28° at my house. 🥶 It's going to be a cold winter.

Yesterday, my mom would have been 68. Instead, she left us 5 ½ years ago at 62. It doesn't hurt less. I've just learned to shield the grief.

Post you from a different era of your life

Six years, six holidays without you, Mom. The holidays were our time—polar opposites, yet bound by our love for the season. You were a remarkable woman, gracefully leading us through life’s challenges. I miss you deeply, especially now. I love you forever, to infinity and beyond.

While I'm not in the age group of this study, I've dealt with it for most of my life. Infusions and blood transfusions kept me alive. Finally, a hysterectomy has helped; albeit I still go through lows, it's not as bad as a before the hysterectomy.
