I love it! I am a fan of black licorice, both the sweet and the salty varieties.

I cooked them like regular sweet potatoes. They took longer as they’re drier and starchier but hold shape better when cooked—less soft or mushy. The flavor’s a little less sweet, but I loved them! I’d eat them more often if they were easier to find.
