The actual acme of masculinity is whatever you decide a man is. Because if you're a man then anything you do is a priori masculine. If you act in that way, and be confident in it and true to yourself, people will be attracted to it.

i think the worst one I've seen is "signal isn't secure because my opsec sucks." it's like, "cool, then i won't share any private info with you, still better than using regular messaging or DMs on social media"

I think the right is overplaying their hand when it comes to trans people. Anecdotal, but I feel like there's been way more people saying the attacks against trans people have gone too far in recent months than I've seen in the past.

They propose the argument of it being a constitutional question as to whether parents have a right to know, but instead of providing a discussion as to why it would be a constitutional question, and which parts of the Constitution would apply, they just wave it over as though it were fact.

With how the UK handled Liz Truss and Margret Thatcher, and looking at the current state of the world in general, I'd say Polanski is a more reasonable choice than a decent chunk of Labour.

It's why they refuse to make ads saying "Trump's sending billions to Argentina while cutting your food stamps." Because then they'd look like hypocrites over all the times they sent money to prop up failing regimes while refusing to provide universal healthcare or free college to Americans.
