#ResearchAdvent day 17. Nourishment, rest, health. Not much rest going on this time of year but today I am nourished by our village nativity and my eldest’s birthday party. It’s good to keep work in perspective!

#ResearchAdvent day 15. My favourite place to work. I’m lucky enough to have a dedicated study, with plenty of bookshelves and a big desk. We won’t mention all the junk. But every so often I’m able to go to a library or archive and see documents directly, which is always a real treat!

#ResearchAdvent day 12. Appreciation for all the amazing archivists I've worked with/ bothered over the years. Appreciation for everyone who works in Arts and Health, putting into practice everything I study historically. Appreciation for my family who support my work, archive trips and obsessions.

I have always enjoyed conferences but it’s been difficult to travel since having small children and I am increasingly aware that jetting around the world simply isn’t sustainable. Hybrid is great but can be frustrating. I’m really keen to explore and hear about different options. #ResearchAdvent
