I’d like a journalist(s) to separate out farmers who grow food for people from farming enterprises that grow corn for ethanol & export. Same for soybeans. I’ve even seen stacks of bales of hay for export….
That’s a business and I guess the “market” has changed and now those businesses must change.

I lived in Wisc. for 42 years. There are liberal areas BUT the headquarters of John Birch Society is located in the Appleton area. Also the birthplace of Sen. Joseph McCarthy. Apparently, Fred Trump was a financier of JBS & friend of its founder Robert Welch. Not surprised Musk is paying attention.
