Senior Global Majority Heritage clergy hailed the selection of Bishop Sarah as Archbishop of Canterbury. Her commitment, "Hatred & racism of any kind cannot be allowed to tear us apart" resonated with delegates following recent diversity debates & the tragic anti-Jewish terror attack in Manchester.

Senior Global Majority Heritage clergy hailed the selection of Bishop Sarah as Archbishop of Canterbury. Her commitment, "Hatred & racism of any kind cannot be allowed to tear us apart" resonated with delegates following recent diversity debates & the tragic anti-Jewish terror attack in Manchester.
A wonderful welcome at Evensong at Croydon Minster for Fr Michael this evening. Both Mayors were present to welcome him along with Dr Brown of the BME Forum Croydon and Roisha Hughes of @WhitgiftFoundation and a congregation from the Minster and St. George's, Croydon @southwark.anglican.org

It was an honour to give the address at this service. The challenge is not to keep looking for or depending upon grand gestures, which are prone to the vagaries of political positioning but to look to our own actions to bring about change. God was not in the whirlwind but in the still small voice.
