I did a whole idea of fem Mizu that goes against a lot of what people find completely canon about them. Duller colors could also mean less bright or iridescent amongst other things. I also wanted to incorporate a Shiromuku theme with it. Will definitely draw more! 🪷

Criticism is welcome, lets make this the peoples Mizu so I can draw her being silly (lewd)

Now for colors, I felt like a deeper red to resemble a different species of lotus would be fun, but also making the tips of the fins more white than yellow to keep with the wedding dress idea.

I adjusted the back fins to arrange more lotus like and kept her undercarriage clear so that she has a belly to warm her eggs with.

I adjusted the face fins and whiskers ro resemble the moon with a slight curve and droop to them as the moon is often a very feminine entity. To me Male Mizu looks like the sun and I thought this may be a great contrast
