Testing how this works but I think I can just buy a book and join a reading group and it’s just that easy? This was my favorite book as an 18-year-old between The Name of the Rose and The Satanic Verses and then being too cool to have one even though it’s totally I Capture the Castle. 🚀

I’ve been figuring out how clothes fit now (after breast-reduction surgery this summer) and I was really surprised how uncomfortable today’s crewneck tee felt until I realized I had it on backward. Score one point for dualism; my body has changed but I have not.

It’s awkward to figure out how/why/what to post here, so what the heck. What books are there where a character has to learn Latin as an adult to do magic and are any of them actually realistic about learning Latin? Rivers of London, Kim Harrison, really not Kuang’s Babel, kind of Scholomance. Hmm.
