I made a dish inspired by Thai egg fried rice, except I replaced the rice with another grain: pearl barley. My choice of extras included marinated fried tofu and shiitake mushrooms. Other than that standard ingredients and spices. It was absolutely delicious... ❤️

I got myself a really cool ramen book by a Polish author that seems very helpful and has a lot of amazing tips. The cool thing about it being Polish is that the author knows the place we live in and product availability and helps figure out how to get what I need without changing countries. XD

I made pasta called orecchiette at home using a knife, it was a fun process! I also made some basil pesto for it, so I had a dish too. Leftover orecchiette went in the freezer. I hope that works.

I made some vegan mayo together with @docwufie.bsky.social. This was my first time making a vegan one, but it was equally easy as when using eggs and it tastes great! I am pleased with this success!
