I would love to read someone's take on eugenics and Octavia Butler. So much of her work is rife with it, which is interesting because it overlaps so much with utopic/dystopic futures

That said, I'd read an essay from someone who's arguing that transsexual should replace transgender or why it's become more popular or the like

I use it for myself and the friends I know who also vibe with the term but I've had enough friends who don't that I don't apply the term wide.

In a journalistic context I would be worried about applying it that broad, esp if equating to medical transition.
