It’s a shame that in this day and age of this country that we actually have to look at what state a Senator is from and if they die unexpectedly i.e. Dianne Feinstein, and whether that Governor is Democratic or Republican to temporarily appoint a successor until a special election. Pins and needles.

This just shows that a civil war is definitely needed by the voters against leadership to get primary candidates elected over the next cycles to do the will of the people, not corporate and lobbyists.

Here in North Carolina we’re well aware of the GOP’s desperation and shenanigans. We’re going to wipe the floor with them in 2026, especially with our last popular Democratic governor Roy Cooper running for Senate even more so driving people to vote Blue in the polls.

I watched the Empire Strikes Back on television late last night thinking of how great Mr. Hamill and all of the actors in that movie were back in the day. Definitely still a fan of his and his belief in democracy and true patriotism fighting the dark side of the force today against Trump and MAGA.

I’m glad that I retired from the military as an officer 8 years ago when Trump first took office, because no way in hell I’d put up with this incompetent circus of unqualified clowns running the Pentagon today. Absolutely embarrassing to the people of this great country and the U.S. constitution.

My deceased father here in North Carolina was a convicted felon years ago who did his time and penance. His voting privileges were restored as it should have been if you served your time and was back in society as a model working and law abiding citizen. The GOP today will do any shenanigan to win.

Voter suppression in the urban areas has a huge impact on the statewide election count. Texas is supposedly the hardest state to vote in.
