And alive! his wife was found yesterday in my home town, Onamia. Still have family house and relatives there. Kudos to Mille Lacs county highway patrol and others involved. My brother and his extended family live 7 houses down from the couple that were killed. Thanks for keeping them all safe.

Operas female roles were filled by men, often Castrati(castrated boys/men), as women were not allowed to sing in opera for a certain amount of earlier times and not in church oratorios until about 1900's. So Columbia is just truly representing some operatic forms perhaps.

There, farms?".. they would mock the Canadian accent, make MN jokes as if we were a bohunk state. Our state as always been about its people. Filled w/integrity, kindness, ethics, and grit. 8 yrs in Napa. Missing MN culture at 73.

I agree it was incredible. Thought of posting on my FB feed for Paul Revere day but I think many wouldn't watch 1/2 on FB. I PM'd it. Still might post. Wax powerful and insightful.

I think many have forgotten that. Disability programs are already targeted. Next will be the people themselves. My brother died a few years ago at 65. Im almost glad he didn't live to see this. He was dev./intellectually delayed. But high functioning enough to read Carl Sagan, Poe, politics.

He had an aunt, RoseMary Kennedy, who had intellectual and developmental delays. Back then the answer was a lobotomy. What would be his reasoning for her disability I wonder? My brother was born 20 yrs later so thankfully avoided the institution and lobotomy 😳

My son began receiving SS at 2 or 3 from his father's social security disability. A Small amount as his father remarried so the amount of disability per person is split from the total amount of the disabled or deceased parent. Sometimes it was $50/mo. Considered his 'child support'.

That struck my more than anything else in his speech. Yet....media didn't touch it. So bizarre. They're still rising. $1-$2 more a dozen since T took office. He was going to lower that day one.

We don't need so much of what we buy. Have become spoiled over the years. AND, I think I'll by used from neighbors or used stores and watch my 'buy nothing' site. Great for recycling. Reducing trash. We've become a wasteful society.
