!!! Wow. In nyc we’re at pretty much the lowest covid rates since the the beginning of the pandemic (thought it’s increasing www.nyc.gov/assets/doh/r... ) but a lot of flu.

As a software engineer, yes. All code costs logistical effort and thus money to maintain. You have to keep it up to date with other code changing, fix bugs, patch security holes. The day you can delete code is a good day. This is irritating but their expalanation is really reasonable.

I’m not saying you’re lying. I’m saying you’re wrong about how many people you know with long covid. Again, 6% of people who had covid have had some form of long covid.

I know several people with long covid. It’s been debilitating for them. What are you talking about??

Oh but you mean if they present the charges to the grand jury again. I meant in the original deliberations, can the GJ vote no on count one and yes on two and three? It seems like this thread is saying voting no on one invalidates the whole thing so they may not even have voted on two and three.

Can the federal grand jury not vote on later counts if they no-bill the first one? This is definitely a thing that happens in New York grand juries.

So on what sense is this a “new” indictment (which seems to be the heart of the issue)? Is it a new number or something? Or is it literally a different piece of paper?

In my New York grand jury instructions we were told a judge would review all the transcripts regardless. Is this not true federally?

I think this really misses how 9/11 crushed the national mood. The 90s were objectively worse in many ways but it really was a moment of optimism for large parts of the country.

Hmm. I find Gehry has slot of variation. I was just in the Fondation Louis Vuitton (art museum) (pictured attached) and it’s amazing. It’s also very usable with rectilinear gallery spaces. I love the outside of the stata center but the inside is unusable. And this looks like a mess.
