At Severn Beach today male eclipse Wigeon, Blackcap (can’t tell if it’s male or female but I suspect female) 2 male Stonechats and, I think a male Reed Bunting. Also 6 Little Egrets with 2 Grey Herons, 3 Wheatears, 9 Turnstones with 2 Ringed Plovers

Spotted Flycatcher at pipes end of Severn Beach, Wheatear and Little Egret on Severn Beach salt marsh and my first Turnstones of the autumn at Shaft Beach roost - approx 20 of them.

@severnsidebirds.bsky.social is this a Whinchat? I have never seen one before. It was on the rocks at New Passage this morning with a Wheatear. I thought it was a strange juvenile Wheatear until I looked at it properly at home!
