Saw Iggy Pop at Marymoor! One of the great lines in American lit: "I'm worth a million in prizes," reflecting self and worth in disconsolation, YET, lust for life. Someone snapshotted me in rapture during that line. I wish I could see me from the outside. Or do I? It was pretty Wow on the inside.

Watching Back to the Beginning, bands lined up for Black Sabbath's last show. The moral outrage on that stage: war & imperialism's shadow of grief, rage, horror. 🖤 Sabbath is Black for the same reason Kennedys are Dead. Metal isn't about doing harm. It's about reporting it.

After WAY too long with a messed up door handle, I figured out how to remove the lever and turn it the right way. My kid says, all wistful, "Awww, you fixed our rezzy doorknob." :( Been laughing all day.
