But I needed the push today to not stay down. But to fight the good fight. To cause some good trouble. To speak my mind and protect my fellow man no matter the cost to me.

Because I am one person, but together we are so much more.

And yet, I was also reminded that there will always be those of us willing to fight for those ideals. For virtue. For freedom.

In some ways, watching these Star Treks today gave me some hope. 3/6

The scope of the birthright citizenship executive order is broader than some rumors had it. The denial of birthright citizenship would apply not just to U.S. born children of *undocumented immigrants* but to anyone who did not have a parent who was at least a permanent resident.
