It is an understatement to call Putin a dictator. He is a tyrant, a mobster, a mass murderer, who is spreading his poison in the West. The one country brave enough to stand up to him is Ukraine. We are at an inflection point in history, but instead of FDR, we have a Kremlin asset in the White House.

This is my brother Allen. He died from polio just before the vaccine was available. His death rocked our family. He was a happy accident when my parents had 4 adult daughters. Then they had me, a girl, so he wouldn't be an only child. He was my hero and protector. I grew up wishing I'd died instead.

I'm Canadian/Brit dual. I live in UK, but still feel a tie to Canada. Of course we have strong trading and social interaction with our neighbour, but Trump's America is a different country, corrupt and ugly to the core. I'd want to reduce interaction. And as a Brit, a special relationship is dead.

Hungary & Slovakia are Putin puppets. And US? We need a willing pact with Ukr

The 'red' is blood Putin spills. Blood of his critics, sadistically murdered; Ukrainians targeted randomly like safari hits; cities like Mariupol flattened, bodies under concrete; POWs, tortured, starved, murdered. This evil must be defeated, not negotiated with. We are in a pivotal 1939 moment.

If Britain REALLY stood with Ukraine, she would have defeated the Big Bad Wolf already. It seems the only countries who really stand with Ukraine are Russia's neighbours, who understand the threat that Putin poses.
