I picked up my cat’s newborn kittens before their eyes were open. She was shaky trying to lift her head and squeaked a bit - maybe out of not knowing why she was suddenly not warm under her mother’s belly. Barely a meow. Less fear and more confusion? Anyway this is Squeaker, I miss her.

I try not to get too emotional about this disease because your life shrinks the more you focus on it, but waking up to find my cat sleeping on the arm that was painfully cramping, as if to help stop me from jolting up in pain all night.. I will miss these sweet little monsters most of all #als #cats
