This landed on my US Facebook page--an excellent Halloween photo! I thought I'd share it; the artist's signature is in the lower right.

Let's do all we can to protect the makers of Tylenol from the loss of business the Trump regime wants them to experience. How? Let's all purchase Tylenol whether we need it or not!

I can't share a link to any article about it so here's an image I copied from Amazon.

Canada is unique in many ways. Fact: it borders the Pacific Ocean to the west, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, & the Arctic Ocean to the north. 3 oceans & the world's longest coastline provide an unmatched connection to global trade & ecosystems. Imagine the implications. Image Source: Pinterest

Do you ever decide what to dream about? I do it a lot. I think this bird is going to be there in a dream tonight.

Is it time for the rest of the world to supercede Trump as the sole negotiator in negotiations with Iran or anyone else for issues of international concern? The US is no longer the global leader that it was. @mark-carney.bsky.social The G7 must now lead a change.

Tapper and CNN have finally shown themselves as the MAGAs they must be. Clearly, they share the value for enriching themselves above compassion (which they lack entirely).

Often, Democrats say Dems will take back the nation in the midterms; this enables the Dems to sit back & watch Trump destroy everything, thinking this will get them the votes. This "strategy" is a loser; It depends on a dictator allowing free & fair midterms. That's not what dictators do.

Hey, Mike Johnson, re: your plans to steal the Social Security We The People paid for, for decades: For many, Soc. Sec, is their sole income; they live check-to-check. Gov't borrowed Soc. Sec. Trust $$, still owing $$, & hasn't removed the cap that limits high earners from paying their fair share.

End-2023, the surplus in the Social Security Trust Fund was $2.8 trillion, enough to pay full benefits until 2035. The gov't owes $1.7 trillion+interest, (see the research below). Remove the income cap on SS contributions & start govt repayment of the debt to the Fund to make SS last years longer!

Good night, BSKY friends. Thanks for your companionship. Unable to sleep tonight, I'm finally logging off to try again; I have to get up in 2 hours.

Sweet dreams!

Social Security isn't, & has never been, a Ponzi Scheme! The Trust was used by the US Gov't for decades beginning with Reagan to pay other expenses; Rs don't want to repay $1.7Trillion plus interest. Pay it back! Remove the cap that prevents high earners from paying their share! @schiff.senate.gov

Musk claims Social Security is a Ponzi Scheme. Let's remember: Social Security would have much more reserves if the govt repaid the money ($1.7 Trillion) it has yet to repay! Plus: let's remove the cap that limits the income on which (rich) people pay the social security tax. My research:

Trump is so proud of his mug shot he had it hung at the WH. He thinks it makes him look tough & strong.

The truth is: That photo shows him pouting & sulking. Weak, not strong, childish & immature. Deluded.

When he realizes this: he won't like it. He'll be humiliated. This copy is from Wiki.

I think Trump would hate to know that instead of looking like a strong, tough guy in his mug shot he looks like a pouting, sulking child.

It would be be wrong to share this, right?

Time for some sleep, since I have to get up in 4 hours. Rest well, BSKY friends. This is just the start of the new reign of the violent chaos king.

We need our energy to find ways to stop the evil agenda.

Without Biden as POTUS will we have a chance? Will Ds in gov't get good at strategy or learn how to fight to save the country? Will We the People take action? Will we learn from historic protests vs. the Vietnam War, battles for women's rights, or civil rights?

Let's remember why Social Security is in a funding crisis! The gov't "borrowed" and now the Rs want to escape from fully repaying the debt with interest. They want our money for themselves, the rich and the big corporations -- for tax cuts for them.

V.P. Trump brought up Musk several times in his speech, denying Musk would become POTUS, finally saying that he (T) is "safe" because Musk wasn't born in the USA. No other reason, just because of birth outside the US. www.independent.co.uk/news/world/a...

Good night, Blue Sky Friends! 🌙

I'm enjoying holiday coziness – the decorations are twinkling, and the house is peaceful. I'm ready to drift off and recharge.

Sending you all hugs and wishing you all sweet dreams and a restful night.

@davidpakman.bsky.social I noticed you care so I thought I'd share. Notice how the repayment rules changed during the T admin. The Rs keep trying to escape the burden of fully paying back the Social Security Trust for what the gov't borrowed, plus interest. Say No!
December 22, 2024 at 1:21 AM
Many people don't know why Social Security is in the funding crisis we have today.

Here's the story, based on my memory, Chat GPT, and online verification. Bottom line: The gov't borrowed $1.7T for other costs. The Rs don't want to pay it all back, with interest.

Hi, Following is more of the research I did using Chat GPT and elsewhere. Bonds were not useless repayment. Click to Read on.
