It was! A lot of people I know who have read it loved it and say it was worth it, but it’s also kind of hard to get into the first bit because all the world building references an event 1000 years ago and it’s built around that event so it was hard to navigate at the beginning

After I bought it, every time I started a new book my bf would say “but not priory yet huh?” And it was a whole big deal when I finally started it. I’m so close to buying myself a cupcake for finishing it today
