Beyond thrilled that the new High Seas Treaty has now been ratified by 60+ nations and goes into effect in January 2026. A huge win for people and our oceans and an important tool to address issues like over fishing, climate change and deep sea mining.

Thinking about the different ways we’re exposed to toxic microplastics. Not just plastic products/packaging, but avenues like microplastic encapsulated delivery of pesticides on crops. It’d be great to see legislation funding programs to help communities in transitioning off plastic lifestyles.

This gorgeous orchid exists in the Colombian cloud forests because of local people who love their nature choosing to protect habitat. Enabling ground up leadership is essential for a thriving planet.
