With 120gsm paper you have to wonder if shading is worth it, as an eraser will obliterate the surface and anything you put down after.. (meant to encourage me to do MORE drawings of hands and focus less on finish) - refs from Mels Mneyan #drawing

Conversations with the girl at the pen and pencil shop have escalated to the token gift level. Technically just doing her job but while a repeat customer Im not exactly a high value prospect. Kinda hooked on the blackwing pencils tho

Took a lot of effort (to not get these poses in under 15 min) 🥵 And the further I went along the worse thjngs got.. (not shown!) what’s apparent is a good contour communicates form well enough. references - grafit studio #drawing

Trying more mixed gestural/constructive approach to quick figure sketches. Pinterest is getting more overrun - when I tried to save the references they no longer link to the image source but to an external commercial site not connected to the owner of the images @studiografit

Been skipping the block in stage lately and ending up with some wierd limb orientations. Today I managed to get the full pose down on the page (30mins). No info on the photo ref Im afraid but I’ve been trying to go with the first suggestion pinterest throws at me (hard!) 😛 #drawing
