When I read that I thought how could eggs possibly cost $50. I didn’t realise how cheap cigarettes are in the USA. A packet of cigarettes in the U.S. costs about $8 whereas in Australia they are around $50.

Probably never. South Korea has a functional democracy whereas the U.S. does not. Too much money has been allowed to infiltrate U.S. elections and the American public has largely succumbed to social media disinformation.

He also said in that same speech before the angry mob that he had enticed to the Capitol with lies about a stolen election that “you’re gonna have to fight like hell or you’re not gonna have a country”. Rudy Giuliani said to the assembled mob “it’s gonna be trial by combat”.

I think it was a combination of people being fed a steady diet of bullshit passed off as fact and people believing that the higher cost of food, petrol, rent etc was caused by Biden and can be fixed by Trump which is obviously false.

Pretty sure that the tariffs on Canada are just because he doesn’t like Justin Trudeau even though Melania likes him very much.

That’s the one advantage of being an old person like me. We now live in the future and my hearing aids have Bluetooth capabilities so no more earphones needed.
