Went to repost this and then depressingly saw it was from 8 months ago. This is still true, and I am now convinced it will remain true until there are successful primary challenges nationwide to the "roll over and play dead" Dems.
American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

I've concluded based on my interactions on some anti Trump Facebook pages that we are divided between two mind frames. Those who don't want to protect someone getting beaten up by ICE out of fear of retribution by Trump and those who want to kick the shit out of ICE.

I saw a report that there were 20 arrests at the protests yesterday and all were MAGA agitators. That was predictable. In my area there was the cliche big fucking truck with ear destroying exhaust flying a Trump flag driven by a guy who obviously couldn't string a complete sentence together.
