first album you ever bought with your own money?

I believe I grabbed Alapalooza off the CD rack at the Walmart first, but I can't swear to it.
Soundgarden's 1994 album Superunknown. It is a red and orange heavy album that has what I think is lead singer Chris Cornell in a sphere, there's trees upside down under it. It's very blurry and not clear what is going on. Extremely 90s. Weird Al's 1993 album Alapalooza. It is a parody of the logo from the movie Jurassic Park, but the T-Rex has been altered to look like Weird Al.

I got two very good pictures of Calvin and Hobbes right in a row. Was trying to get a good solo pic of Calvin and then Hobbes saw me giving his brother attention and had to come investigate.
