Overall, RLI stream production is at a pretty good level now I think. There's definitely still things we wanna improve - starting soon, brb, ending screens - but for the resources we have the quality is great :)

Also been pretty cool to give opportunities to new Irish casters over time!

Our current stream overlay was very much just an evolution of the previous version. We cleaned up how we presented player information along with providing a bigger area for tournament names etc.

We also finally added support for custom logos and added integration with the OBS API

That season of RLIS was also accompanied by some hype chamber graphics that we put together to try and make the broadcast more complete.

For that season we used team specific versions but we now made them more generic so we could use them for other tournaments

Pretty soon after that we had our prestigious yearly tournament - RLIS. We wanted to go all out for that so we created a completely new overlay which gave a bunch of information to the viewer and looked nicer on the eye too.

Looking back, this one probably took up too much space in the mid screen

The first overlay we used was super basic since I had only just figured out how to create them. It lacked a lot of information and as someone put it - it looked like the xbox achievement popup 💀

I think I was going for what trad sports do with scoreboards in the top corner and lots of free space
