It’s what they did in Poland in the 80’s called Solidarność, the Solidarity Movement. Strikes all over the country! And the result was: they got rid of communism! Amazing!

Have you read Esperanza Rising by Pam Munoz-Ryan? What a great historical fiction read! I miss collection development but now I’m living in my pjs lounging with my cat and a good cup of coffee with half and half.

What a beautiful display! As a Children’s and Young Adult Librarian, now retired, we took extra measures to make sure our cultural groups in our community were represented. I went through the same display process with Indigenous People Month. And Pride Month! The Moms for Liberty hated that one.
