Prisons are full of people that would caveat that you need significant wealth to be able to ignore laws.

Bibi has been in charge forever because he keeps being elected by Israelis. That should be undisputed but who knows what conspiracy theories you may have read.

Videos of protests as a proof of illegitimacy of elected leaders are ridiculous. Polls are standard practice of gauging public opinions.

All you have is gaslighting. Here are actual polls. He did what his voters sent him to do. We know more about our safety than randos at the other side of the world. www.jpost.com/israel-news/...

The article in hebrew shows Likud led by Netanyahu gains 27 seats while his opposition led by Two Yairs each get 10 seats. It's just a loud abnoxious minority misrepresenting peoples will. We don't want the threat of by massacred by Jihadists and Netanyahu took care of it.

Ex-PM Bennett, who has been largely silent on the truce-hostage agreement, sinks to lowest number of Knesset seats in potential election since first being included in Maariv survey

Yes, Israel is open society and obviously every politician has detractors. Some people protest. They don't represent the majority as proven by decades of lost elections. Netanyahu popularity has skyrocketed exactly because he insisted on winning the war and not sacrificing Israelis' safety.
October 13, 2025 at 10:00 PM
The point is Netanyahu is doing his job representing Israelis that strongly prefer to avoid being massacred. Mispresenting his actions as selfish requires ignoring millions of informed Israeli voters.
October 13, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Biden put impossible limitations on Israel approach to fighting the war so I would expect Netanyahu to support anti-jihadists candidates. A simple siege would have been the most humane way to end the war. Could have ended in two weeks instead of two years.

Samsung putting a useless AI assistant on my lock screen and making it difficult to remove is very revealing. I had a dedicated calendar and weather apps. Making "AI" regurgitate the same info is just spam.
October 13, 2025 at 9:53 PM
Netanyahu has been representing the majority of Israelis that demanded the war would go on until we can reach both goals of releasing the hostages and reducing the likelihood Hamas would be able to repeat the massacre and kidnapping. The war dragged on because of Hamas.

Google says there are subsidies in Australia too.

The 7,500$ tax break that has been rolled back along with zero emission credits by EPA and California. They tax other manufacturers of normal cars and give the money to companies selling EVs in order to subsidize EV costs.
September 22, 2025 at 4:30 PM
You've been milking the government and tax payers for subsidies for decades and have nothing to show for. EVs still don't sell without subsidies even with millions of cars being sold every year.
September 22, 2025 at 5:32 AM
We can agree that if the tech is so great they wouldn't need government subsidies and mandates. Let's see how attractive it is to customers without the 7,500$ tax break.
September 22, 2025 at 5:27 AM
It's quite misleading to look at a single aspect of cost of ownership. For most people the total cost of owners per mile and per time is what matters. That includes depreciation and operational costs. Buying used EV is notoriously bad idea because a faulty battery can total the whole car.
September 22, 2025 at 5:24 AM
The cost of energy used to produce the vehicle is embedded in the price that's why EVs are so expensive.
September 22, 2025 at 5:21 AM
Making a these giant batteries also consumes ridiculous amounts of energy upfront which is not accounted for. Also, the "efficient" electricity mostly comes from burning carbon based fuels so the "savings" is just outsourced. EVs have shown much higher rates of depreciation too.
