Much needed morning at the ponds

(1/3) Y'all I would much rather be sharing photos of Harry and Pippa and stories about how ridiculous and hilarious life can be. And I'll try to add some of that in for balance.

But right now not a minute goes by when I'm not thinking about the future of our democracy and the individual rights...

My entire personality will be queer and trans pride until the overwhelming assaults against my existence and my community cease.

It's been 43 days, and we have zero idea when Gwen's social security will kick in. And her safety net, which we opted not to cash out, is in free fall with the stock market.
So glad that the price of eggs... oh. Well, damn.

No one should call themselves a progressive or a liberal if they do not fight for trans rights. Once you are willing to sacrifice any of us, you are a conservative wearing liberal clothes and the threads are starting to wear thin.

(Apologies for the duplicate post. I deleted the previous one due to something going wonky with the images)

Today's moment of sanity at the ponds.
Tree swallow, Anna's Hummingbird, and some Ring-necked ducks making a landing 😂

(1/3) Gwen and I were out and about this weekend. Several times, I needed to use the bathroom. With facial hair and a voice that has started to crack and deepen, I'll be honest -- I was afraid.

Finished going through Saturday's Pond walk photos. 27 different bird species observed! Don't worry; I'm only sharing four. 😂
1. Pied-billed Grebe
2. Double-crested Cormorant
3. Bald Eagle
4. Green-winged Teal

Last time I was on T for nine months before having to quit due to complications. I finally have a provider I trust and we are going with a new formula. First shot today!

Happy for a little #TransgenderJoy right now.

Still going through this morning's photos but this one makes me happy. It's a bit blurry but watching the little red-winged blackbird chasing the bald eagle was such a treat I had to share.

When I feel myself deeply connected with the world around me, I feel myself connected with her love. The magic of watching a beaver bathe and turtles sunning and hearing/seeing 26 different bird species today allowed me to feel the tether to her once more. She is my heart and is with me, always.

Thankful that my morning migraine subsided enough to enjoy my 1st trip to The Ponds in 4 months. Perfect way to honor this bittersweet day of my birth. I always miss my mother terribly on this day and am painfully aware that it was both my arrival into this world and my departure from her life.(1/2)

I'm not saying that people should report a missing location on Google Map's newly renamed fuckery... But some of us like to be petty like that.

The argument is being made that this type of action hurts us, the individual workers, more than it hurts the wealthy.

And the first part isn't wrong. It does hurt individuals. And here's the thing: Individuals are already being hurt tremendously by the power grab of the oligarchy...
