The 14th marked Woody's 7th rescue-versary with us. It's also been almost two years since he was diagnosed with liver cancer. We are so grateful he is still with us and is doing so well today. His sweetheart, Ida, is too. The two of them are completely inseparable 💞

Rosie and Wayne 💞 are two very bonded older cockfighting survivors from separate busts. I'm so glad we paired them together.

I hope we all get to know love like theirs. 🫶

Meet the newest besties at the Haus. We introduced them on Sunday, and the second they saw one another, it was like they were long, lost friends finally reuniting. They danced around each other for hours, searching for treats and tid-bitting for the other. Heart melting to the max.

Finders Peepers is a compassionate Easter event. We begin with an exciting scavenger hunt 🔎✨️ where you'll get a map and a list of clues. As you peek around for the hidden treasures, you'll get to say hi to our feathered and furry residents along the way. Then, you'll trade in your findings for a

We're so happy to announce Mr. Beardslee has settled into his new home perfectly with his new rooster buds, Obvi, Burl, and Rambo. Beardslee already buddied up with them all, but has a special fondness for Obvi. We love how roosters continue to end their own rooster stigma just by being themselves.
