Sam joined the Room 322 Games team in early 2024 after meeting Anna at a game developers' panel at NAIT in Edmonton. Currently, Sam's pursuing a degree in Electroacoustic Studies at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec.

Sam has been developing intricate compositions and fan music for the past decade and designs sound effects using combinations of unique timbres found in the real world and never-before-heard sonic qualities that are only possible in a digital medium.

Fueled by a passion to create the games he wants to play as they aren't being made as much anymore.
His favourite games growing up were the whole Zelda franchise especially Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess, Pokémon, and Dark Souls.

This ignited a long running passion of playing video games through the years. When he went to high school he joined a class that taught programming igniting a further passion to develop video games after which he then went to NAIT to study video game programming.

After graduating, I found Room 322 and got added to the team, focusing on Quality Assurance and light programming. Now I spend my time tinkering around with Linux and building fun bots with Discords API while I finish school."

Some of my biggest inspirations and what made me want to learn 3D are Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time and Monster Hunter! The art direction in OOT was beautiful and the models very much inspired me to want to make similar works.
