Wow! I didn't discover Ogre until about a decade after you, when I purchased the 1986 Origin Atari game. I fell in love with it & soon found my way to the board game. Like you, I still have that first introduction to the game. 😄I also have the metal minis and, obviously, that kickstarter edition.

Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries can be such a cool-looking game. It is frustrating that it doesn't have an in-game photo mode. Perhaps someday a surprise patch will implement this feature? We can hope, right? 😄 #Mechwarrior #Battletech

I ate the goat, but I was out of water. I needed to hit the road, despite nightfall. Luckily, the day's rain had passed, so I stayed dry. I found a farmhouse to spend the night about a klick or so away. I did have a jumpscare as an infected ambushed me in the poor light. I shot it w/ my revolver.

The question: what to do until Arc Raiders launches in eight days. Hmm. My solution: #DayZ! It is the perfect game for Halloween, and it has that loot & survive element. Tonight, I got lucky and found some wild goats. I shot one for dinner and fried it up in a nearby abandoned house. Ahh, DayZ. 😄

The sound design in #ArcRaiders is phenomenal. Not only does it do a superb job providing audio cues to the player, but the sounds the various bots make can be frightening at times. I am still not sure what type of bot landed near me in this clip, but the sound FX chilled my blood.

I logged 4 hours in the #ArcRaiders demo. Not much, but I am holding back because the demo ends tomorrow, and I don't want to get overly attached. 😄 Regardless, I only have one suggestion in those 4 hours: lose the bright sun on rainy days! 😁 #PCGaming

I gave Power Play 2.0 a try. So far, I like it! It is a big improvement over the stale gameplay of the original formulation. I pledged to a lesser power, Nakato Kaine, because I like her liberal democratic values. I did some ship/wake scans in Col 285 Sector LT-V b17-3 to help. #EliteDangerous

Copilot surprised me by writing up this faux news release based on what happened to me in-game. It got the year wrong, and a few typos, but I am still impressed! People like to slam AI as "slop," but it can also be a lot of fun for hobbyists like me. #EliteDangerous
