At the end of this nonsense I wished I could just sample more inks but that might be my collector brain

It was also fascinating how some inks like locked down on the paper and others were easily moved around by water. Some dried fast and others felt like they lasted forever. I got a glass nib pen at one point and it’s really neat how differently it feels from a metal dip pen nib

The hyperfixation appears to be like… wearingeul centered at this larval stage. I’m sure as time goes on I will form Opinions

This only worked a little bit

I seriously made a whole spreadsheet of all the Pantone, rgb, and cmyk values of each of the inks so I could try to convince myself to not buy any that were too similar in an effort to control the obsession

I keep thinking about how I’m gonna sample and organize it and what I’m going to use the colors for

But I can’t concentrate right now cos I impulse ordered a bunch of it when I was missing my dad and some of it is arriving today and I’m so just PUMPED

One of my hobbies is frankensteining dolls together. Usually to make dolls that look like my or friends’ ocs, but occasionally purely for **aesthetics**

For the record— the first play Tiny!Rook wrote was called… “The Cat Who Did Not Eat Rats But Only Drank Milk”

Anyway— yeah. It’s always been hard for me to care about things that aren’t my special interests. But when they are… heck and dang 4/4

In the span of a week, Tiny!Rook went from not reading at all to reading anything

And then she immediately started writing plays and stories with her newfound literacy ability. Tiny!Rook allocated all their skill points to literature and the consumption and creation thereof 3/4

Tiny!Rook did not learn how to read until she was 5. Tiny!Rook cared naught for the letters until One Fateful Day they realized that books… had… (plot twist) STORIES in them 2/4

I’ve always been so self conscious about art even though I really only make it for me (I started drawing so I could draw my own ocs from my novels)

But am slowly workin on just letting myself like what I make even when I mess it up or it has mistakes. Not being perfect doesn’t mean that it’s bad 💕

Art is fun for me cos I don’t know what I’m doing so I don’t stress about doing it wrong djjddggsh thanks to my poor memory I don’t usually even remember what I did do so it ends up as me going by vibes and hoping for the best
