It's true, it's why I liked ds2 cause it was standalone for me, but still had links for the people who wanted to look for them. I really enjoyed ds2 so it makes me sad when people don't include it or it's lore in things :((

I find it so funny that the Old Iron King contains the soul of the literal final boss of ds1, and yet his own dlc has very little to actually do with him. He makes no appearance, he's talked about yes, but that's nothing compared to if we'd seen him before his change
