Oh man. I'm sorry. Being online makes it real easy for ppl to be assholes without accountability.
I really try to limit my time on apps in general, I don't want to disengage but I get overwhelmed quickly.

And we can't get overwhelmed and drown in the urgency of the need to FIX EVERYTHING that is being broken.
My 84-year-old mom was depressed enough to call a crisis hotline after seeing a lifetime of activism get wiped out in three weeks. I told her she has to check out for a while.

You've been on my mind these past weeks. I think we all feel powerless, but we can't let that feeling turn into self-pity and turn a blind eye to those who are most vulnerable to this torrent of shit.
