I wonder if it was his bicycle that he was so proud of that he wanted to have his photo taken with it, or just a photo studio prop. I hope it's the former 🙂

I remember something about this from a documentary, wasn't it something to do with trying to catch muggers & sex offenders who were targeting women & there weren't many female officers available (or they didn't want to put the female officers at risk)?

Yes, yesterday would have been a different story. Usually the Hawthorn tree in my front garden is alive with tits & other smaller birds, as well as wood pigeon, magpies & blackbirds, all after insects & the remaining berries & I get sparrows & long tailed tits on seed heads too.

No birds in my garden at all today. All sensibly staying in more sheltered locations out of the wind & rain I guess.
