Clearing the Virgin Media digibox, after a drowsy slog through the 2nd season of the Outer Limits, Public Eye: Girl in Blue (S6E2) was a pick me up, just quite brilliant - a fantastic Roger Marshall script, Alfred Burke and Ray Smith in tandem (as Marker and DI Firbank)

Sorry to hear of the death of Peter Watkins, a remarkable and unique filmmaker responsible for many brilliant works: Culloden, The War Game, Punishment Park, Edvard Munch, La Commune (all masterpieces) - I rewatched Munch last month and was dazzled by its narrative and editing.
