Beautiful snow in Chicago this morning. Being from Texas, I don’t get the pleasure of seeing this kind of snow… then getting back to the warmth before it gets slushy and not so magical!

Ah, winter’s here. So… I had been traveling for business last week and my amazing wife and wonderful daughter decided to cook me a special dinner and light a fire in the fireplace. It was a great surprise. The meal, too-notch and chef grade. The fire in the fireplace…not the surprise I was thinking.

Security line at the airport in Austin this morning. 45 minutes to get through. I will give the folks working high points for keeping a sense of humor and keeping things moving.
