This mother and baby pair of barred owls shared a few minutes together before the owlet left the nest tree for good. It had just fledged minutes before. I have never seen this happen before and considered it a privilege. Nature is something else. #Photography #art

I know this is likely the most photographed spot in Canada and pretty much everyone has a photo of it. That doesn’t mean I wasn’t going to make my own photo of it. It was nothing short of spectacular to witness it for myself. #Photography

This was such a thrill for me to see. I watched western movies like so many boys growing up. To see this part of the world in person was almost surreal. #photography

Like everything, the fishing industry in Nova Scotia is changing and the old ways are being replaced with new ways of doing things. This building is now gone, I was glad to document it when I did. #PhotographyIsArt

I used to spend a lot of time at Peggy’s Cove. I used to kind of challenge myself to capture something new in that location. I don’t think I really did it successfully.
