Consequences don't matter. Rapists get a couple years in prison, felons are president, and drug dealers with little options in broken lives get life sentences. So why should they worry about the ramifications of their actions? 🎀

Continued thought to play devils advocate to myself: the kids these days dont care what happens to them because they were born into a world that has not given them hope. Their adult lives have not yet grown and what theyre experiencing isnt hopeful or inspiring, so why should they care what happens?

But I can't help but think of the world that has crafted them into this mindset and I realized that people unafraid of consequences are the ones who are unafraid to take risks that make change. And maybe that's why our children today are more likely to save us than anyone so far today has. 🎀
