I’ll just be over here doing my silly little hobbies.

Important question: Should color my hair pastel now, after the wedding, or never?

My wife and I are trying to decide whether or not we’re going to remain living in Indiana where our strongest support system is but where we’re #3 highest in maternal mortality rate, and where we can’t both automatically be parents to our child. Living here is a nightmare for same-sex couples.

My wife and I are learning how to make pottery. Last night we took a wheel class. Twas touch and go for a while but we made it out with what passes for bowls. Lesbians who throw clay together and all that.

In this day and age, living in a place that
- you like,
- you can afford,
- you can find a job,
- you have family/friends,
- you feel safe, and
- you *are* safe from natural disasters/bad laws/worse

is luxury and privilege. Almost no one gets to check all the boxes.

So maybe don’t be an asshole.
