I'm certainly not one to defend trump, but I could see a 15 year old working in the back of the house 10 or 15 hours a week washing and folding towels, or keeping glasses of cucumber water full.

I did some poking around this morning. Looks like this all started during the first Trump admin with 8645. I couldn't find any 8644 refs. It certainly looked like MAGA went hard with 8646...

I've got to say, I've heard this case discussed on several podcasts (including slate's political gabfest), and those descriptions of this case bore no resemblance to this episode's description. My perspective tends to be center left, and this struck me as an exceptionally biased presentation.

Not a trump fan whatsoever, but to be fair, if 90 agreements were possible in 90 days, you would not expect their release to be spread evenly over 90 days. Assuming you formed 90 teams to work them, you would think that each might take a month or more, so you wouldn't see any for the first month.

Try asking an ai engine to do it for you. I just asked google's gemini to write a ksh script to do what you describe and it produced a result. Didn't test it, but you might as well give it a try...

Are you going to remove the cap on payouts as well? The design of social security is to base payouts on the amount paid in. How would you change the payout side of things?

Just switched to Fedora from Manjaro and I'm very happy with it. It's been rock solid, and I was looking for a vanilla GNOME implementation.

I listened to several of the shows this morning and all the administration officials seemed to be hinting at the same thing, saying that the admin was studying semiconductors and related products together with pharmaceuticals. Lutnick went farther than most, but they all seemed to be hinting at it.

That's why we ended dependence on tariffs in the late 1800's. Too many opportunities for graft. But they are perfect for our mob boss president. Just another protection racket.

I asked the question because the original posting said that Rubio made an argument that torturing these folks would be OK. I have a hard time believing that he would actually say that. I agree that the treatment some of these folks are getting is unacceptable.
