Not really Mass Effect because those games don't go for that cinematic vibe

But with that said. I get it now. We need more NiGHTS games and not just have the character be added to other games. I know SEGA is bringing back old franchises. I do hope one of them is NiGHTS.

The only exceptions are Atlus stuff and Super Monkey Ball. I never finished P5 or any of the spinoff P5 games. Any Persona games I did like were P4 Arena Ultimax and P5 Dancing in Star Night. And as for Super Monkey Ball, those games are WAY too hard for me.

I swear, if I was born a little earlier, I would've been a SEGA kid. Every time I try a SEGA game or franchise, it just clicks with me. It happened with Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, NiGHTS, Shenmue, Sonic, VF, Yakuza, Outrun, If i played Daytona, I probably would love it.

You have to beat it on both sides as Will and Helena the first time, then you have to get at least C rank in every mission, then you have to do the final level AGAIN on both sides for both of the true endings. That's the only thing I don't really like.

The one thing i really don't like about this game is that you have to beat the final boss 4 times to get the true endings.

Bosses ranged from stupid easy to ANNOYING. Will has the worst boss fights in the game while Helena has the easiest boss fights in the game, and the final boss goes down INSANELY fast. You blitz through each phase with speed, it's almost like an instant A rank. Reala was pretty fun though.

Missions were repetitive at times but not to the point of annoyance because each level has a "chase the birds for the keys" mission, followed by a "follow Octopaw and maintain a link for as long as possible" mission.

Gameplay was fun, wasn't a fan of playing the kids that much. Helena has 2 levels that I wasn't a big fan of AT ALL. But when you're playing as NiGHTS, I was having a blast.

Same issue with NiGHTS. You learn a little about NiGHTS but the game doesn't deep dive into what happens or why it happened, it just goes "that's enough, moving on now."

Story wasn't great because when it comes to the kids, the game doesn't dive deep into the kids their personal issue. When NiGHTS asks them what's wrong, they're just like "it's nothing" and move on.
