Mead 1 - Shiny Red:
1.06 -> 1.004 = 7.35%
Mead 2 - Brick Red
1.043 -> 1.004 = 5.2%
That was before the infusion and back sweetening, which had around 250ml of maple syrup into it

So I put an entire melon into each bottle this time. Then lemon and lime juice, because they were on sale. Absolutely no idea what’s happening here, I’m hoping if I leave them another month they’ll drop out

This stuff has clarified so well, swapped it into a clean jug and left it alone for around a month. It’s looking like a nice rich red, but I’ve mostly forgotten what’s in it at this point. Wanna say passionfruit and cranberries infusion at the end, with some maple syrup
