Unfortunately, I feel as though this is the most likely reason. I fear that the human mind is simply not equipped to have everything readily available to them with the click of a button.

My local theater was recently acquired by some other company, so my theory is that it’s just shitty maintenance practices during this bizarre transitional phase under new management. So hopefully that won’t be the case for your showing.
