I watched The Raid at the theater in Japantown in SF on a random Tuesday afternoon and it really was a bonding experience for me and the other randos watching it that day.

Being in HS and college in the 90's, there were plenty of good memories going to a great R rated movie on a friday night. Not to sound like a old crank, but feel as though there are not as many of those types of pulpy R rated movies you get now as you did in the 80's and 90's. Good for Coogler.
